Kim’s 34 year ophthalmic background includes all aspects of clinic and surgical assistance, ophthalmic photography, practice management, coding, reimbursement and compliance.

Koryn Rubin is Manager of Health Policy in the AAO’s Washington, DC office. She manages all activities dealing with physician accountability and quality, such as PQRI, EHR and E-Prescribing. She is the Academy’s liaison for third-party payer issues and advocates on behalf of the Academy to CMS and other Federal regulatory agencies. Koryn maintains proactive relationships with the American Medical Association, the American College of Surgeons, and other medical advocacy groups.
